Higher Education Program graduates assume positions throughout the country and the world. In a typical year, approximately 20 students will graduate from the Master’s of Education (MEd) program and 5 students will graduate from the Doctor of Education (EdD) program. Our MEd has a 99% placement rate, with students accepting positions around the country at institutions such as Purdue, George Washington University, the University of California-Berkeley, Texas A & M University, and Seattle University. Our doctoral graduates, who are enrolled typically on a part-time basis, have gone on to distinguish themselves at institutions such as the University of Kansas, the University of Nebraska, the University of Michigan, Kaskaskia College, and a number of two-year colleges, including Ozark Technical College, Northeastern Community College, North Arkansas Community College, Tulsa Community College, and Elgin Community College in Illinois.
Graduates from the Higher Education Program are characterized by their confidence and competence, and reflect the caring and rigorous atmosphere of their time on the UA campus.
