Making application to the Master's of Education Program in Higher Education is a two-part process. First, applicants must apply for admission to the University of Arkansas Graduate School (http://grad.uark.edu/). Second, applicants must also apply for admission to the Higher Education Master's of Education Degree Program through a separate application process, submitting the materials listed below:
- A completed Higher Education Master's (M.Ed.) Program Application for Admission Form.
- Statement of Interest
- A current resume or vita
Three (3) letters of recommendation (may include written letters in lieu of graduate school's electronic reference letter system grad.uark.edu). Please select professional references that are able to speak to your experiences and abilities as they may translate to success in the field of student affairs and in our graduate program. We recommend including a reference from at least one student affairs professional, as well as one reference from a faculty member who can provide insight on your academic ability and work in the classroom setting.
- A writing sample demonstrating the applicant's best writing.
